What’s happening
Make-believe with other children is happening now, not just solo pretend play. Your child uses short sentences routinely and understands spatial words like "in," "on," and "under." They can catch a large ball if you toss it gently. This is an age where you can really see the person they're becoming, their humor, their preferences, their way of thinking.

You can see their personality clearly now. The way they laugh, what makes them curious, how they comfort a friend. You helped shape all of that.
