What’s happening
Two-step instructions are becoming second nature. "Get your shoes and sit by the door" actually works most of the time. Imagination is emerging in beautiful ways, with stories and scenarios your toddler invents from scratch. They're learning possessives, like "mommy's phone" and "my cup." Throwing a ball overhand is a new physical skill that gets practiced often, whether you're ready or not.
