What’s happening
Your toddler is following stories in books now, not just looking at pictures. They're using pronouns like "I" and "me" and "you," which shows real language growth. "Why?" is starting to appear, and once it starts, it doesn't stop. Climbing is confident and purposeful. They know where they want to go and they'll figure out how to get there.

The "why" phase can be exhausting. But every question means your child trusts you to explain the world. That trust is something you built.
