Note for parents

What’s happening

Your toddler can name things in books now, not just point at them. "Dog!" "Ball!" "Baby!" Pretend play is getting more complex, with sequences like feeding a doll and then putting it to bed. Vocabulary is growing fast, sometimes a few new words each week. They can kick a ball forward with purpose, not just accidentally bump into it.

For you

A grocery store meltdown feels like the whole world is watching. It's not. And the parents who are watching? They've been there. Every single one of them.
