Play peek-a-boo using different objects to hide behind - a blanket, a book, your hands. Try hiding and reappearing from different sides to keep baby guessing.

Give baby safe containers and small objects to put in and take out. Plastic bowls with large blocks work great. This builds object permanence and fine motor skills.

Create a simple obstacle course with pillows and cushions for baby to crawl over, around, and through. Stay nearby for safety while baby explores different paths.

Fill small sealed containers with rice, beans, or bells. Let baby shake them and discover different sounds. Shake along and sing together to build rhythm awareness.
