Make different facial expressions (happy, sad, surprised, angry) and ask toddler to guess the emotion. Take turns making faces. Builds emotional vocabulary.

Use colored blocks or snacks to make simple patterns: red, blue, red, blue. Ask toddler 'What comes next?' Start with 2-color patterns.
