Place a rattle in baby's hand and let them discover they can make noise. Shake one nearby and see if they turn toward the sound.

Lie on your back and hold baby face-down on your shins. Gently lift legs up and down. Baby practices head control while getting a fun ride.

Read board books with bright, simple pictures. Point to images and name them. It doesn't matter if baby can't understand yet; they love your voice.
