Give baby pots, pans, wooden spoons, and plastic food. Let them pretend to cook and serve food. Join in and ask 'What are you making?'

Let baby practice climbing on safe, low surfaces - a step stool, low playground equipment, or a pile of firm cushions. Spot them carefully.

Introduce knob puzzles with 3-4 large pieces. Show baby how to take out and replace pieces. Celebrate each success!
