Count objects throughout the day: 'How many apples in the bowl? Let's count!' Practice counting to 10 with real objects. Connect numbers to quantities.

Take turns adding to a story: 'Once upon a time there was a bunny...' You add a sentence, then toddler adds one. Write or draw the story together.
