Play

Give baby a doll or stuffed animal and pretend-play caregiving: feeding, putting to bed, giving a bath. This builds empathy and language as you narrate actions.

Fill a container with rice, pasta, or sand and hide small toys inside. Let baby dig and discover them. Great for sensory exploration and fine motor development.

Do simple actions and encourage baby to follow: jump, spin, clap, stomp. Then switch roles and let baby be the leader. Builds imitation and gross motor skills.

Touch different body parts and ask 'Where's your nose? Where are your toes?' Sing songs about body parts. Toddler will love showing what they know.
