Give toddler a colored card and ask them to find things in the room that match. 'Can you find something blue?' Builds color recognition and observation.

Practice jumping together! Jump over a line on the floor, jump off a low step, jump from circle to circle. Hold hands at first for balance.

After reading a familiar story, ask toddler to tell it back to you. 'What happened first? Then what?' Accept any version - the goal is narration practice.

Set up a toy washing station with a small tub of water, soap, and plastic toys or dishes to wash. Toddler practices pouring, scrubbing, and drying.
