Hide behind furniture where baby can see part of you. Call their name and let them 'find' you. Gradually make hiding spots less obvious as they get better.

Tape a large piece of paper to the table or floor and give baby thick crayons. Let them make marks freely. Name the colors as they scribble.

Make simple actions and sounds for baby to copy - clap hands, stomp feet, pat head, make animal sounds. Then let baby lead and you copy them!
